Default Yank SS3600 vs PAS3800

Can't make up my mind on which one to buy and install. Maybe some of you who have them or have in the past could be of some help.

Car is a 06 auto with the A6/6l80. Car has Vararam, ARH 1-7/8 headers and ARH midpipe with stock mufflers and a tune right now. Getting a new GM 6l80 and want to add a converter, trans cooler and rebuild the torque tube while I have it apart. Planning on staying with the boltons for a lil while longer but eventually (within the next year) plan on adding a good sized cam and some nitrous.

I like what I have seen from the few people on here that have the pas3800 but was wondering if it was too much for a bolton car for driving around OR if it hit entirely too hard for a good launch from dig on the street?

Just looking for some good feedback is all!

Thanks, Dave

I havent had a pas3800 but I did have a ss3600 and it wasnt enough for the track but it drove good and would be my preferred converter for the street. After 2 track visits I sent my ss3600 in for a ss4000 and it does great at the track. On the street its a spin fest and even on hoosiers I need to take it easy from a dig.
