Is there any way to get this bug out of my headlight without putting the entire assembly in the oven and removing the lense?
removing the bulbs still leaves the inner lenses and as far as I can tell, there is no other access.
Don't laugh, but have you tried pulling the high beam bulb and sticking a vacuum cleaner over the opening to try and suck it out.
That was my plan but when I removed the bulbs, the clear lense that you see from the outside is still there. I was hoping to find some kind of opening to use vacuum or air on the little corpse but I cannot see one. Makes me wonder how he got in there in the first place.

Good point! you may want to send a note to RLSebring, he is the headlamp master!
There is a simple solution. I've done it before.
Remove the flapper in the back of the headlight assembly in the front wheel well (push pins)
Once you have access, remove the low beam rubber boot and use compressed air to blow that fly out of there and into the bottom of the assembly underneath the bezel. You will need a 100 psi compressor to do the job.
It's hard for a vacuum to work because there are also 2 vents that prevent total suction power. If you can cover the vents, you may be able to get enough suction on the headlight assembly to pull that sucker out.
Good Luck
Here is a pic of the back of the assembly.
Let us know the outcome. With compressed air, you can divert that air so it pushes that sucker right out of there and out of sight.
He's gone!! Thank you so much. Looked to me like there was no way in there but you were right. I had been living with that little creature for over a year. Turned the wheel, took off the flap, pulled off the cover and blew him away. Mine was so old I think he just turned to dust. I owe you a beer!

Here I thought I was the only one in the world who had bought new headlights with a couple specs of debris trapped under the lens. One looks like a dead nat. I contacted lv2tour via PM and he gave me the link with his instructions. I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one.
Here's my critter. I was hoping it would decompose or otherwise disappear. If yours bugged, pardon the pun, you a year I guess I will have to get with it and follow LV2TOUR's instructions.

Since my previous post I had planned to tackle LV2TOUR's instructions in the morning. My new headlights have been on since last Thursday and I saw the speck as soon as it was in the sunlight.
I took a ride this morning and when I got home the speck was missing. I guess it slid off of the bezel and landed on the lens out of sight.
