Default Loose side marker light

While waxing my '08 Vert today, I noticed that the drivers side rear light is loose. It moves in and out about 1/8".
Anyone know how to access the rear side?
I'm guessing through the wheel well or the trunk?

It's much easier to take the outer tail light out and reach through the hole. The marker really isn't adjustable for tightness. Its clipped in.

OK, how does the light come out? I noticed a screw on the outside top.
Yea, I figured that there wasn't any adjustment, and if it's clipped in and loose, I'll probably put a little dab of glue on it.
I recently got the car back from the body shop where they removed the rear bumper cover. I'm wondering if they pulled the wires or broke the clip or whatever?

Just that 1 screw at the top of the tail light and it comes right out. Real easy to reach the side marker then. I suspect a tab will be broken if it is loose since that is all that is holding them in.

Have the same problem with the driver's side rear marker light on a friend's 2002 Corvette. Both plastic studs were broken and the light was just hanging by the wire. I ordered a new side marker light and there is no way, that I can see, to hold it in place. Is it just a matter of pushing it in? The two studs are tapered. Should there be some type of metal clip that secures the tabs once the marker light is pushed into place? The parts guy at the dealership didn't have a clue.
P.S. I searched the C5 section but can't find any posts that address this problem.

No clue on C5, On the C6 it has 2 studs and 2 plastic spring clips that go into a square hole and latch on.

Thanks for the info about the clips. I'll have to take a closer look at the holes in the fender to see if there are any type of clips in place. As both of the plastic studs on the marker light were broken off (no idea how that happened) I'll guess that any type of locking clip is long gone.

I could not get mine to suck up real tight, so I put some thin double sided tape on the back and it works real well.
