Default Need some help on TR6060 rebuild

Spun in first went to hit second at high rpm and grinded the hell out of it.

now...

Anyone have a TR6060 rebuilt?
If so, who do you recommend?

Tick $2000 ship transmission

Complete tear-down, degrease & thorough inspection of entire transmission
Bronze Fork Pad Upgrade on all gears
Carbon Blocker Ring Upgrade on 1-4 gears
ZR1 Pickup Tube
New Front Seal
New Rear Seal
Cryogenic Treatment of All Transmission Internals
REM Polishing of All Transmission Internals
End-play set to our custom specifications
Professional Reassembly done 100% by hand

-OR-

Same setup at RPM for stage VII
$3600

Anyone have experience with tick or RPM?

"Grinded the hell out of it"..... What does that mean?
What gear is it making noise in or locking up?
What gear is it not going in to or missing.
What sound is it making?
TICK seem to offer the best warranty. Feedback from anyone who needed to use it?
RPM is more expensive but seem to have more units out there with good reviews.

Went to go into second on a launch and it wouldnt not go in, grinded. Later tried second again and it grinded and would not go in. The car will go into second with some force, however it grinds. Ive pretty much summed it up because every gear except second is working, ive lost second gear synchros. So i might as well rebuild because of future plans i have for the car. Mainly looking for reviews on the builds.

Thanks for the help!

The difference between just pulling the trans apart yourself to replace was is broken is maybe $100 max in parts, verses having someone else fix or rebuilt the trans instead that is going to run in the several thousands.

Since you are brutalizing through trans shifts (instead of letting the trans sink into to gear itself correctly instead) my vote is to man up and learn how to pull the trans and work on it yourself.

Short of this, them better be a silver spoon trust fund baby, since I see you going through a RPM stage 7 pretty much just as fast as well. Hence the sync only works when you let it work, and that is to give the sync enough time to friction slow down the gears to speed match each other to slip in smoothly/correctly instead.
