Default G6X3 vs Texas Torquer V4

Is the extra cost (620.00 plus shipping) of the G6X3 cam worth it over the much less expensive (400.00) Texas Speed Torquer V4? I just can't bring myself to spend that much on a cam. . . unless the performance advantage is obvious and large.

Chime in fellows. . . what do you think?

Hmm...That doesn't make any sense considering the G6 series cams were designed for the LS3 which would be 2008-2013. The G5 series cams were for the LS1,2,6.

Just call them, they're not selling cams for $620. If they are then go to another vendor.

Default G6x3 it is......

Yeah, you guys were right. That is not the right price. In fact, I just spoke to Bobby from LG Motorsports. Very helpful and didn't waste my time with un-necessary BS. Didn't realize the extent of the research that went into this cam.

Let's just say I am an extremely happy camper and will post the G6X3 install and results when I get it. Other mods will be exhaust and a tune. Later, TF 225 heads, intake, and headers.

LG does a lot of R&D and they stand by their products. I have enjoyed by G5X3 for 8+ years now.

Compared to your current cam, the G6X3 is night and day difference. Likely won't drive quite as nice but it's a beast at WOT. On an LS2 with Trick Flow heads and a FAST intake, the G6 gives consistent 500+ RWHP numbers, often around 520.

G6X3 = amazing cam with amazing power everywhere. I wish there was an LS7 cam that popular and fierce. I daily drove my G6X3

Isn't there a G7x3? Similar style and profile? I think there's a G7x4 also
