Throttle Body help!

I was wondering if i could install a 2009 ls3 throttle body on my 2008 ls3. i read that the 2008 has the silver flap and opens in the opposite way as the 2009 which has a bronze flap. will i have any problems?

If you have HPtuners or such, it is not a problem.

it won't throw me any codes if i put the 09 TB? and i have a diablo tuner, is that the same thing?

The silver blade and gold turn in opposite directions. You have to change something in the computer and to the best of my knowledge, a hand held tuner won't do that.

Before you do anything make sure the blades are not the same, the newer cars are gold, so they may be the same.

My 08 has a LS2 TB (Sliver Blade) If you put a LS3 TB on you will have problems because the electronics are different in the LS3.Maybe a tuner can help,I don't know? Again you will have to pay the tuner, not worth it.It has been said that the LS2 is a better TB..
