OBD2 code reader
hi guys I am looking for a good OBD2 reader that will read everything on the C6 what do you guys use? I found this one but I don't like the coming from China

second, i have been told and witnessed at my mechanic's shop, unless you have a TechII reader , your personal device wont read 'everything'.
i use a $70 reader, enough to get by with, until i have to make that trip to have them read something mine wont

If you have an iPhone, just get an ELM327 dongle. Lots of apps on the App store that support it and will read the parameters. (Not sure, but there are probably similar apps for Android)

Ditto, if you have a I phone, then an Elm 327 "WIFI" dongle, and Dashcommander.
If you have an Androids smart phone instead, then elm 327 "bluetooth" and torque instead.
Either Elm 327" can be bought from ebay for around $10, and the programs to run on the phones are not that much either.
This will allow you to pull and clear all the codes of a standard scanner, as well as monitor the car as well.

I still live in a cave. I'm still using my BlackBerry. But I do have a new tablet using Android. What would i have to do to use it for reading codes etc? I also have a Diablo Intune that I've been tuning with. Thanks.

If you got about $300 buy a tech2 clone from one of the buy China sites. I'm an ex fm tech and can tell you that the damn thing can read every module in your car and program Them witH an SPS subscription.

If your tablet has Bluetooth, you should be able to use the ELM327 Bluetooth module.

first, you need to check other places for that item , including but not limited to Amazon.

I have the same thing as ChevyDave above. While I haven't had to use it on my 08 (no problems in over 62k miles), it has worked well on numerous other cars.
