My air bag light came on first week of ownership (used at under 25k miles). I found common remedy on this forum that fixed my issue; and hasn't returned for almost 2 years. Yellow connector under driver's seat comes loose. Run seat far forward to access harness underneath and re-seat connection. I also zip-tied mine closed. I'm sure there could be other causes; but simple, free thing to check. Good Luck!

I had the same problem and it was the the plug connection under the back of the seat. I tried fixing the plug connection and finally gave up. I bought a trailer flat 4 prong plug kit. I cut, soldered and used heat shrink. I have no more airbag light on.
