HELP. Stranded. Oil pump replacement

I'm sitting on the side of the road waiting for the tow truck as my oil pump just went out. I need to know what pump to replace it with. Right now I have stage 2 heads/cam with headers. I'm assuming I should go with a high pressure high volume but don't know what to get. Thanks.

P.S. it is hot as **** right now in Texas.

You might want to consider if the stock oil pan has enough volume. In order to use high Volume/Pressure pump.

You could pump oil pan dry and cavitate what oil is is system.

Use a stock properly aligned pump.

Agree,

You don't just install it, you need to properly align the gears using feeler gauges and then torque the body of the pump to the block.

yeah i agree. I did heads, cam, and everything else. put it all back together and drove it a bit. On my way home, noticed the gauge flat lined. chose to drive it another 30 seconds home. I was terrified cause obviously I just was in there and had the pump out.

scanned it and got this P0523 which will not turn on the engine light. turns out it was just the sender phew

with him but they are two different things, you can get high pressure or high volume
