Default 2005 Vert Radiator - Advise Needed

After seeing my temp gauge bounce from 194-240 and smelling anti-freeze, I saw that the radiator on the top driver's side plastic tank was leaking (see attached video)

Question: Can this be fixed or do I need to get a completely new radiator?

Pricing for repair and if new radiator cost for new radiator?

Thank you for any advice

Get a new one. Dont bother fixing. You can sometimes find a used one here for a reasonable price. Just be sure you get one with the correct set up -- i.e. oil cooler and\or transmission cooler.

I had to replace mine a couple years back. Not a fun job but did it anyways.

New radiators are cheap. Make sure you get all the air out of the system when you replace it or it will over heat on you.

I use the vacuum system to refill, works great.

They're not that bad to replace, but you don't wanna do it twice.
As the others said, do yourself a favor and get a new one.

The hardest part about it is un-clipping the rad from the condensor as they slide into each other. The fans come out pretty good, 2 bolts on opposite ends and unplug the module. and if you have the cooler on the right side use a pick tool

I have a radiator I pulled out of a 2012 C6 Manual. It had 3k miles on it when I went crazy on building the motor and bought a Dewitts. If that is what you need, ping me and we will figure out a good price. I also have a stock cooling fan...

May or may not work. OP, do a search for radiator types. Not trying to say dont buy one from the forums, but the 05 (and 06 I believe) was a little special. I know for a fact that the 05 + manual + z51 package have a transmission and oil cooler built into the radiator. You will have to do a search to be specific with your set up.
