Default can Sparco Evo 2 Plus question

got me a Sparco Evo 2 plus

does any1 know if the seat could be mounted to a Factory POWER seat track ( drivers side Z06 ) kinda like Caravvagios/marrad seats?

i also purchased aftermarket Base/slider/side mount but would like to retain adjustability of the OEM power track ( other ppl drive my car )

Hi Mukak. I have the same question as you. Did you have any luck with findings to your question?

The power track mounting points for the seat base are on swivels that move forward and back. Because of this, the front to rear dimension can be changed to allow most side mount brackets to attach to them. However, there are still a dozen things that can go wrong that could cause a side mounted seat not to fit as desired, or not fit at all.

You need to know the outside width of the shell at the locations where the side mount brackets bolt to the seat. Some seats have the same dimension front and rear and others are wider across the front. Most side mount brackets do not have a wide enough bottom flange to spread far enough apart to accept the front width. Some spread just wide enough to fit the seat, but then you have no adjustment side to side (the seat only sits dead centered) and the seat may bind on the tunnel and not slide or the door may not close. You can also get the seat installed and find it sits higher than stock. The shape of the side mount bracket can interfere with the lap belt openings, and on and on. So many things can go wrong that we stopped marketing brackets for that purpose. We have brackets with a 2.5” wide bottom flange and a few sets with a 3” bottom flange that can be bolted to the power tracks but we would give no guarantee the seat will fit to your satisfaction and there would be no returns allowed on them.
