I've had most of the exhaust's mentioned here except the Corsa. By far the best I've had so far is the B&B fusion III. It's 3 inch all the way out the tip's so as loud as anything I've ever heard. When you close it off to quiet mode it has no drone at all. Running with it I have Pfadt headers with a catted X pipe.
When my car was cammed I had no cats and straight piped but it was just too much to drive around town all the time with. Sounded beast WOT at 7000rpm. The 4k stall made it horrible to drive around tho. Going to try out some corsa xtremes.
Bullets are the loudest and to me the best sounding either idle or wot. Had them on my M6 '06 and now my '13 A6. Used SLP Loudmouths on my 2000 WS6, and they were great sounding, but not as smooth as the Bullets. More NASCAR than Le Mans, if you will. They are cheaper, but to me the Bullets are more than worth the cost--much cheaper than the Borla ATAK for example. The simple fact is that if the NPP gives you 6 hp--which it has to or Chevy couldn't advertise it, the Bullets will give you at least twice that. Full 3", no muffler as opposed to 2 1/2 inch and portion of exhaust always goes through a muffling process on the NPP. Louder = freer flowing = power. Others may disagree on the hp gain, but it is indisputable, that's why the NPP option exists and is advertised by Chevy.
I like the deep tone of bullet mufflers. Had them on my last two LS cars(z28 and my current c6). But they do drone like a ****. Some people are very drone tolerant, I'm not one of those people. On a long interstate drive it gets old. I would drive in 5th to avoid the headache inducing drone when driving for hours.
They do have to be the best hp producer since they are simply a straight through hollow tube with some fiberglass packing outside of the inner perforated tube.

I haven't heard any street C6 that compares to my setup.
My car is a cammed 2013 GS with headers, 3" collectors into custom exhaust turn downs in front of the trans. It's track-only loud! Ear plugs are recommended because if the drone doesn't give you a headache, the WOT will make you deaf.

Long tubes, no cats, and an adapter pipe that turns the exhaust to the ground right at the end of the long tubes. That will be the loudest....you might not want to run it on the street that way. Sorry, but you asked!
I have long tube Kooks, BTR stage 2 cam, cats with muffler delete straight 3 inch with 3 inch tips. Spent 250 at muffler shop as opposed to 1200 to 1800 on new exhaust. Exhaust/car has a definite lope and is loud but music to the ears of many. I get compliments all the time however drone is bad.
I’m considering the Billy Boat B&B Bullet exhaust system to replace my SLP LM1.
Anyone currently running the B&B Bullet that could give me an idea of how much worse the drone will be from the LM 1?
The B&B Bullet practically looks like a muffler delete

Im running LT headers with off road x pipe and the bullets. Best sound ever, drone? Yes but you can always run in a different gear and change that....
So I am coming from a 2015 Mustang GT. I put a cat back exhaust on it and it was LOUD. I have been listening to some exhaust clips for the C6 on youtube and they all sound really quiet, especially compared to the Mustang.
Is it just a quiet exhaust in general? What would be the cheapest way to make the car sound as loud as possible? I like a mean sounding exhaust.
LTH Catless X-Pipe and straight thru and a tune..a good tuner can play with the stock cam and make car sound like it’s cammed.
A muffler only mustang is usually quiet a bit louder than a muffler only vette, I’ve noticed. If you want a loud system get something like Billy Boat bullets, slp loudmouth, hooker blackheart etc.... but even with these systems it won’t be real loud, to get some real volume you need to get long tube headers and lose the cats. I have Billy Boat bullets on my otherwise stock c6 and it’s really not that loud. It has a nice deep rumble and at lower rpm’s is decently noisy but mid to upper rpm’s it’s surprisingly pretty tame.
