Questions fellas is there any difference between a base c6 radiator and a z06 radiator ?????

there are a few different options based on coolers. base won't have the trans cooler i believe like the Z has

yes there is but if you want to really "upgrade" spend the $ and get a DeWitts and problems solved! get it with the oil cooler if you have a base. and install it{the cooler lines I mean}

Then, you have the manual, Z51 that has the trans cooler integrated with the radiator. I don't think the autos had it. Maybe someone can confirm that.

Autos have trans cooler lines inside the radiator to assure the trans has a fairly stable temp.

One thing I discovered recently was that a A6 coupe had a 1" thick core radiator and a A6 GS used a 1.25" thick core. Both were OEM. Strangely enough, the smaller core radiator held slightly more coolant, due to a slightly larger internal trans cooler in the GS radiator. This may not be true for all years, so do your own inspections.

Just one more of the strange things I've learned when the curiosity bug bites.
