I want to put 19" wheels all around on my 08 Z51 and I've been searching but cannot find what I want to read. I seem to find a lot of threads that say it can't be done but none that tell me why. I'm thinking computer settings must be the answer. Any info would be great. The issue with searches is that you need the correct wording and maybe I'm not getting the correct wording.
Who says you can't do that? You can as long as the tires height is almost the same as stock. the wheel diameter doesn't matter, the tire diameter does.
You need to maintain the correct front/rear ratio that the computer is looking for in order to avoid AH issues.
Once you find the front tire size you think you want, multiply the diameter of that front tire by 1.04 to get the desired rear tire diameter. I don't remember how much plus/minus you are allowed with that ratio but it isn't a large difference.
I have done, but with 18". Same principle. My goal was always to try to match up the height of the tires back to stock, so that the computer doesn't care.

I have a second set of 19" wheels and was wondering how to put these on the front, what size tires. My front 18" are a little chipped up.
