Default Ideas for retrieving DRL bulb

I was changing my DRL bulb, didn't have it secured in the socket fully and it dropped into the lens cavity. I can touch it with my finger and move it around. I wasn't able to get it with my flexible parts grabber. I don't think there's any steel on the bulb... This morning I thought about maybe trying to vacuum it out. Any ideas?

Some double sided tape/chewing gum/poster hanging putty on a stick may work.

Just had this happen to me about a month ago.
After cussing at myself for about 20 minutes, i tried many things, but what worked in the end was rubbing some glue on my finger and poking around in there to get it to stick to my finger.. Took a bit for the glue to get sticky enough..and seriously did not think it would work at the beginning.. but after about a half hour fiddling around i somehow snuck it back out the hole.
I believe the glue i had handy at the time was Gorilla glue.
Good luck.

Use a shortened telescoping magnet to fish around, it'll catch one of the two thin wire that wraps around the plastic end. Make it grab it at the end/edge and it'll lead it back out.

It'll continue to drop out and require repeated frustrations so you must bend the wires of the bulb OUT and it'll "pop" into socket more securely.

I use something like this around the garage:

Cheap, and helpful when you drop things into hard-to-reach places.

The one I have has a big magnet on the end. No joy.

I'll try the sticky finger trick.

Thanks!
