Default Running temp? '11 Z07

Hey all. Driving around today on a warmish day in Chicago. Engine is running up around 210*F. I was unable to detect the sound of fans running while sitting at a light or anything...

What is normal operating temp on these things? Is a termostat swap something folks do often on these?

Finally, since I haven't seen the tune yet to know for myself, does the C6 have dual speed fans? If yes, @ what temp does the high speed fan kick on?

Thanks for the help CF!

210 is absolutely normal.

The fans don't have "speeds" anymore. They are controlled by a pulse width modulated signal, i.e. the computer can control them from 0 to 90% and anywhere in between.

The stock fan settings are shown below for a 2010 LS7. I don't have one on hand for a 2011, but they should be essentially the same. As you can see, they really don't even start coming on strong until 217 or so. 220, even 230, are both fine.

That's exactly the reply I was looking for. Thank you for the 411!
