Wasn't that impressed with the stock exhaust sound, just too quiet for my taste. Spent a lot of time researching and listening to various exhaust sound clips, even went to a local corvette club's auto cross to hear them live. I don't cruise much, but ended up getting quite nervous about drone, I had decided to go with Bullets but heard too many complain about the drone.
I really didn't have a budget set, but stumbled upon Mid America Motorworks Quad systems. I liked that they had the IAC ratings (Idle, Acceleration, and Cruise) and decided to go with the Quad Power. The rating was 2/3/2. Also went with an Airaid Synthamax Intake, and decided to have my car street tuned. WOW! I'm not sure if the intake or exhaust had anything to do with gaining any power, but I dyno'd 384 rwhp and 364 rwtq. I feel a noticeable difference in power, I think the tune really smoothed things out, and the throttle response difference is very noticeable. Thought I'd share, in case anyone was curious regarding the MAM Quad Power exhaust.

Glad to hear you enjoy it! Also, congrats on the recent purchase! The Quad Power is by far my personal favorite exhaust for any C6. We install quite a few of them during Funfest!
The nice thing about the Quad Power on a 6 speed is that there's basically no drone since you never lug the engine, but it still has a hugely noticeable increase in sound at acceleration and idle, as I'm sure you've noticed already! The idle tone with this system is just beautiful!
If anyone is considering this system with an automatic tranny, there will be some slight resonance in the cabin at low rpms and at cruising speeds, but is very minimal and will go away for sure at speeds over 55 You probably won't even notice it!
Did you match this up with a new crossover pipe? The change in lower end torque is pretty awesome! I'm a total exhaust nut, if you can't tell! I love seeing happy customers with our Quad systems!
I saw a deal with the x-pipe on the quad cruiser, but not the quad power...but will look into it. I also just got the MAM catalog in the mail about 3 days ago, and it's give me some other ideas on things as well. But yeah, I haven't even really been in 6th yet, but can tell it won't drone like I was afraid others would. But upon initial start up and idle, wow! Of course, it sounds pretty aggressive on acceleration and it even pops on deceleration a bit, I absolutely love that!

Are you planning on coming to our Corvette Funfest next week? You could check out some of the x-pipes in person and watch them be installed to get an idea of what it'd be like on your C6!
I'm glad you're enjoying the system, it's hard not to! It's got such an aggressive tone without interfering with any music or conversations for a fraction of the price of most other systems, what's not to love? The growl you get when firing it up puts a smile on my face every time!
