C6 hood latch adjustment needed?
My 2013 427 hood has become increasingly more difficult to open. After I pull the lever in the car, the right / passenger side of the hood pops up like normal, but the driver's side no longer pops up, and is becoming increasingly more difficult to pull up. I'd like to get this adjusted/fixed before it gets to the point that I cannot get the hood open any longer or before I break something.
Does anyone have instructions on the procedure to complete the necessary adjustment? Appreciate your help........

Assuming you're still within the warranty, try hitting up the dealer body shop. The service manual only states "Adjust as necessary", which means loosen the 3 bolts and move it around and tighten again until it works.
Other than doing it yourself, any body shop can do it.

Thanks for the response. Car is out of warranty......was purchased in July 2012,. I decided to go out to garage and take another look @ it. Decided to lubricate both hood latch mechanisms with some silicone grease, and then tried it.......bingo!....never has it worked so well, not even when new! Now the hood pops right up, both sides and I can close it by simply dropping the hood from about 1' Don't know why I didn't think of it sooner......
