Default C6 Dim Truck Lights

Trunk lights very dim in the convertible. Voltage readings vary 8-9.5 volts. All other lights inside and out no issues.

Which way are you using the multi meter,

If just across the two plugs in the connector itself, the use the hot side on the connector, and go to ground on the car for ground back to the battery directly instead.

Since the other lights are fine, the either a bad connector up line, or would dare to guess just a bad ground for the these light connectors instead.

Found the connectors and worked them and the lights began shinning at full power. Thanks for the drawing.

Humid climate: corrosion likely...be sure to spray with something like WD-40 to inhibit future corrosion.

Better to use dielectric grease, WD-40 won't last long
