a6 speedo failure at wot
I have an '11 6l80e car with a h/c//i/e full bolt on 427. At the track under wot it would short shift and during that time the speedo would go to 158mph on scanner and 0mph on the gauge. Subsequently the car would short shift as the 6l80e depend on that for shifting...
What is odd the scanner would immediately shut down. After 3 runs of doing this the car was shut off and would not restart. After pulling the harness off the BCM a few times the vehicle was able start but gauges all read 0 after 30 seconds or so. I noticed the start button would flash green and then shut off. The car remained running but I was not able to pull codes as it seemed to lack finding the vehicle ID.
Any help would be appreciated.
