I have an 07 Callaway 560 with A/T and in "D" from a stop no up shift at w.o,t engine spools to 7,500 without shifting to 2nd normal driving shifts to all 6 Paddle shifter works as it is supposed to is this a programing issue? if it is where can it be re-programed without altering the Callaway program. thanks for any help
Has it always done this or is this a change from how it used to behave?
Bought it used at auction with no contact from previous owner Trans shifts very hard shift kit up shifts at certain mph and downshifts if not above these speeds. The car frankly scares me I have not tried wot in "S" and used the paddles I know it will break traction and become a handful.
Have to look for enough road to give it a try.
Up date it will shift with paddles, only issue is it revs so fast it is over revving at 7500 RPM before you get a chance to shift. It does shift at 7500 and gets squirrly. It is so powerful, I need to get use to it. What a ride!!
shifter cable came off at shifter, cheap plastic connecter failed, got a new cable from GM made in China, car shifts much smoother, still hard to control the 560 Horses under hood. Was going to do it myself, after looking at it decided to have it done, glad I did, laying on my back with the car on Jacks is not the place for a 67 year old man even though I still think I'm 19. The CALLAWAY IS FOR THAT 19 YEAR OLD IN ME
Not sure if my reply is same issue, but it sounds close.
I added a can tune , and if i floor it my car will rev so high and when it does want to start to up shift,, it is so slow i actually have to let off gas ,as its sliding out of gear to slow. and feels like i would toast trans.... Took out can tune and is 90% better.
