Default cam size choice

This coming winter I want to do a pretty decent sized cam in the ls2. My questions were who here is running a cam on the street and still have good driveability? I want the biggest possible without it being annoying to drive. This would be my first cammed car so I don't know own much about sizes. And would It be necessary to do heads right away? Or even a clutch?

I was considering the hawk sinister cam, the size is 230/236 .591"/.601" 112 lsa.. is this something I can run and have a good driveability with? And make decent power

What are your goals for the car?

Do you want additional power under the curve or are you solely focused on additional power on the top end?

Is this a 'street only' car or are you gonna race it?

The goals are to have a fast street car with the occasional track days, 1/4 not road course but I'd also run new heads/intake as well down the road
