Default C6Z Drivetrain problem

So when i make a sharp turn like parking or reversing out of my driveway I hear a clunk in middle/rear of the car. Like I have to give the car extra throttle to get it to move in those cases. Then I heard a loud pop/clunk in the rear when i shifted to second, and now the car doesn't want to accelerate under load. If I give the car any throttle it feels like I'm in neutral, but I'm actually in gear. Does any know what the issue is here, and an estimate on repairs?

Did you check to see if you broke an axle? Easier fix.

Input or output shaft of the tranny. Not so easy of a fix.

No that's not it, it's kind of like taking off from a red light in 1st or 2nd and soon as it engages i hear a clunk noise from the middle/rear of the car. When it does engage it doesn't want to accelerate, like i hear something spinning. not sure if its in the rear or middle

Ok my buddy pete snapped the torque tube right at the weld where it meets the transmission. He described it just like you have. not common but check that. Also thinking possible drive shaft.

So i just went and tried to fully engage the car in gear, and it's a clunk noise coming from the torque tube close to the engine. What could this be?

Could it be the couplers coming apart RPM? Not sure if that matches symptoms 100% or not.

Yea might be snapped, i'd have to look. Also was thinking of output shaft? But the car will move but when i fully engage the clutch that's when I hear the clunk like from the front of the car.

Take a vacation day from work and spend some quality time with your car.

Good Luck!
