Default Lear Car2U

My 2013 ZR1 appears to have the Lear Car2U installed from the factory. What is the f'n secret to getting this thing to work? I have a liftmaster garage door and driveway gate motor that I cant seem to get to talk to the Lear Car2U. I have used the instructions on the Lear site with ZERO success.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I think your best bet is to call Lear. Many here have had various problems that were finally resolved by Lear's Customer Service. Worth a try.

The great thing about this company is the customer support number has apparently been disconnected - amazing.

Sorry, I hadn't heard that.

Maybe you can switch to the old Homelink visor? I think some have done that. Might want to ask that as a different question/thread. Good luck.

I have the Lear on my Vette as well and it wouldn't work without ordering some box that installed on the inputs to the garage door opener unit. Had its own antenna and programmed quick. Just pizz'd that I had to put more money into it when my head unit was supposedly supported by the Lear system.

GM saved money changing suppliers, looks like it worked out well for the consumer.

FYI,I retired from the company that owned HomeLink.
