Default Just installed my vararam!!

well guys i just finsihed installing my vararam intake. fit in great, took me about 3 hours becuase my box cutter knife kept breaking for cuting the shroud lol but i have several questions.my biggest question, i never got that red coupler thing, it was never delivered in my setup. however the tabs fit right in the hole anyway and no matter how hard i moved and jiggled it, it did not move so i am assuming i am safe, am i?my second question is about the break in period, do i really have to wait 100 miles? lastly wtf was that sealant looking thing that came with it, it did not look like it fit anywhere, where did was it supposed to? otherwise besides the random missing stuff and lack of bracket, i believe it came together very nicely in my opinion

The car will like it even more once it's tuned. The Vararam works great and works even better once the Air/Fuel is calibrated for all that extra air!

You saw that much reduction in the qtr mile with a Vararam? How fast are you?

That's a pretty impressive gain. I put one on my car this summer but I haven't been to the track yet. I guess I'm a little afraid to launch my rear end as my plan is to not keep the car.
I gotta say my car is very fun to drive on the street though.

I have the older Vararam for an LS2, and this is how it came in the kit.

I've read many guys putting many passes on these rear ends but my luck is I won't get out soon enough and smoke it. I've busted a lot of dumb stuff over the years. Have you ever heard of someone breaking a driveshaft on a motorcycle?

I was going to do a burnout and dumped the clutch a little too fast, replaced it in the parking lot of a local grocery store. That was back in 88 on my 82 Seca 750, ended up totaling that bike 8 months later.
