Hey everyone! Im looking for what headers to get. I have a stock 2005 C6 with a ls2. Does anyone know what headers add the most HP when combined with a X-pipe?

I've had AR Headers (American Racing) with their hi-flow cats & X-pipe on my '05 for the past 6 years, together with a Tune by ECS here in NJ. Estimate 25-30 hp increase & also excellent quality over the years. Highly recommended....
On the C7 the ARHs make more power under the curve by a large margin than the competitors. But I have been unable to locate a similar back to back test for C6 headers.
Where is the proof the LG headers are the best as I'd love to see it a it might sway me in that direction? Can anyone provide any evidence?
As many others have stated, ARH, LG, Kooks (in no particular order) etc are generally recognized as the best. I have ARH 1-7/8 on my 08 Z. I had a fitment issue, oddly, and Steve Doten at ARH was extremely helpful and yes the exhaust does have a lifetime warranty. Coupled with a cam and a few other goodies to included 'modded' Z06 mufflers it sounds fairly good. Good luck, you really can't go wrong with any of the top brands.
Just get whats on sale and shop around, maybe entertain buying used.
So, are the ARH with cats $470 better than the LG street series? The almost $500 difference is why I'm leaning towards the LG's (street not super pro). If they will produce similar power/sound once tuned and not break I can't see paying the extra.
Thoughts?
