Starter wiring

There is a plastic wiring connector on my starter that I cant figure out how to disconnect, any ideas on how it is opened up?

Could you elaborate a little more please or include a photo..... I think what you are referring to may be the plug in the center of the solenoid but not entirely certain.

Is this the starter solenoid connector that you are asking about? If so, the pic shows the clip that has to be opened.

Thats the animal, got it off this morning once I was able to move the starter so I could get good eyes on it. Thanks to all that answered.
