Default Need Window Advise on C6

Hey out there,

On my C6 Vert, the window is supposed to go down a little when you open and close the door. All of the sudden, my driver door isn't doing that. How do I fix that?

Raise window and hold button up for 3 sec. (release) Again hold button up for 3 sec.

This is known as indexing windows. Needs to be done if you loose battery power!

It happens every once in awhile, even if you don't disconnect the battery.
BTW, you have to have the door closed to re-index the window properly.
It will not work with the door open.

Still after re-indexing, My passenger side will not go down far enough so much so that when you close the door and the window rolls up to make the seal,it gets hung up from the roof wheather strip then I get an air leak as I am driving. Then I have to partial roll down the window and roll it back up in order make the proper seal. What am I doing wrong?

From your description, it may be that your window is slightly out of alignment.
When you push the door handle, the window should index down to clear the roof weather stripping seal, then upon closure, the window should go up and seal against the rubber.
If the window is not aligned properly, straight across to top, or not pulled in enough from the top portion, then it will not close or seal properly.
There are 4 adjustment bolts on the window regulator to pull/push out window, and the glass holder brackets can also be loosened and adjusted so that the glass sits evenly on the roof weather stripping seal. Once the glass holder brackets are loosened, the glass can be shifted East to West, or North to south.
If the glass is hitting the front portion of the top seal, then loosen the glass holder bracket adjustments bolts and slide the window back so it does not hit the front trim. If the window seems too high, then loosen the bracket bolts, and lower the glass down a bit, then re-tighten, and check to see if it fixed the issue.

If re-indexing didn't work, then you will have to remove the interior door panel, and adjust the window as needed.
