Help. Kooks headers not lining up with 3" X pipe

I have removed my catted 3 inch x pipe and replacing with a catless 3 inch x pipe. I am having an issue lining up the the x pipe with the headers. Any help would be appreciated.

Everything is supposed to be left loose until connected. Are you doing that? I had the same problem when I installed the last long tubes X pipe combo.

You may need to loosen the header bolts and the mufflers and hangers too.

My Kooks and Headers and x were the same as yours. I loosened header bolts and they reached. The ball socket works wonders,Must admit was worried about pulling on bolts in aluminum heads.

All is good!!!!!

Thanks for the help. Loosening the header bolts worked. Amazing how loud the car is without cat.
