headers and X pipe sound effect...
So I currently have BB Bullet axle backs and love them. I LOVE the crackle and pop sounds, absolutely love it. My question is, I am planning on getting headers and x pipe, not sure if I am going with catless or catted. My biggest concern it I don't want to lose that crackle and pop sound. I have heard some people mention an X pipe would eliminate that? Is that true, and if so, can running catless make a difference? Please chime in as I am ready to probably order headers but I want to lnow these specific questions before I do anything.

I don't have a b&b exhaust but I do have kooks headers, no cats into a borla s-type exhaust. While I didn't do my borla before the headers and did everything at once, my car pops and crackles upon deceleration at any rpm, any gear.
Pretty sure that'll apply to you too.
Even on my ls2 gto with full exhaust. Same thing.

I ran ARH 1 3/4 headers into a catted X with B&B bullets. I currently run LG Super Pros with a catless X into a custom exhaust with Dynomax bullets. I've crackled and popped on both, it's got as much to do with your tune as it does with the piping.

11 G.S. headers and tune
Right new kooks 1 7/8" , cattless X into G.S. NPP muffler install. All the crackle and pop needed to have other drivers attention. (Stangs!!)
