Default Z06 Caliper Question?

Can a Z06 caliper be used with a Z51 rotor? I have new Eradispeed plus front rotors in the Z51 diameter. 14mm difference in diameter between Z06 and Z51 rotors, or 7mm radius. Doesn't seem like I would lose much in performance. Thoughts?

No, they will not work the diameter is off by about 1/2".

I believe that Wilwood has calipers that will. Z06 calipers have issues with pins sticking, so you may like the Wilwoods better any way.

The Wilwood front Aero6 caliper kit comes with mounting for both the 13.4 and 14.0 rotor.

The W6A is the former top loading model of the same basic caliper design. Fully interchangeable.

I have one black and one red W6A front kit, can be had for $850 shipped in anyone is interested. That's a complete kit, Bp10 pads, hoses etc. * first come first served

Good info! So, if I want to use my old Baer rotors with my W6A calipers all I need are different brackets?

Fundamentally there is no reason why not. You may have centering issues with the kit brackets and these to rotors if the hat offset is not the same as stock. And you will need about 2.25" of rotor height relative to the hat. Hat cannot be too large or the pad and caliper may contact it when properly fit. That's bad...

PM sent. Killer deal for front and rear, but I have the 14" rotors in the rear and cannot use the FNSL4.

If you are running 14" rears and want to do W4A rears get hold of me later this week, I have the parts to possible make that work for you.

This kit is still available.
A few tire kickers, figured it would be easily gone by now.

It seems folks are not fully grasping the offer above. Please allow me to clear up any further confusion.

I screwed up. I shipping the wrong kits. They are new, in the box, bone stock, not installed or fondled etc. The customer now has the boxes awaiting my direction.

I can:

A. Put out a call tag for them and return them to TCE. I pay return shipping on that. On top of the shipping I already paid to get the wrong parts there. Then the boxes sit on my shelf for X weeks. Then I sell them to you for normal price and pay shipping on them again to you.

or...

B. I can send a re routing shipping label and have them go directly from him to you. You get them sooner. You pay less. It saves me time, expense and carrying costs. You get the same kits from option A.
