weird corvette lettering on startup
hey guys was just wondering if any of you guys get this. whenever i startup my c6 i get weird lettering like aaabbbdddvviiiic. then it goes away. is it just the welcome setting that u can change messed up or is it bad?

Also, read about the fobs!!!!
Hence the car can be personalized for Fob 1, then change to be personalized for Fob 2 as well.
Also, read the owner manual cover to cover, since it will also cover how to set the memory features, but also how to get in and out of the car if the battery dies. Hence the rear key latch above the rear license plate, the drivers door cable release latch in the left back of the hatch, and the door release levers on the floor inside the cab. Also, how to use the fob slot to start the car when the battery in the fob dies.
When you get done with that, then give the wife the short tour on the same. Hence no once should be allowed in a vet until they understand how to use the safety features on the car!!!!

Just a SWAG. If your report of what is displayed is accurate then this probably isn't the issue but......
There have been reports of displays like EEPROM 3.8, SOFT 7.5, BOOT 3.2, etc messages. The cause frequently was found to be a stuck "Reset" button. May be worth a check.

thank you guys and actualy as inwrote the post i kinda answered my own question. it was the custom welcom button. so i set it up, and yeah no eeerp 7.0 or anything just jumbled letters but its all fixed now.
