Kooks x pipe question

Kooks x pipe question
So o just bought kooks off road headers from a forum member. Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition, but it seems during the shipping the box was torn open ever so slightly and when it got here here was just one clamp missing. It's the clamp at the end of the x pipe that connects to the axle back.
I have a billy boat axle back. The billy boat axle back slides into the stock hope, while the kooks x pipe it looks like the axle back will slide over it. Basically my question is can I use the clamps I have on there now or do I need to order one from kooks?

Use the stock one it will be fine. On my car they were tack welded onto the hpipe so you may have to cut the weld.
You can get those clamps for about $10 delivered off eBay/summit/Amazon. You'll need a 2.5" one for base exhaust.

Ok great. I have a bully boat axle back on there already, so you're saying the stock clamps I used to connect that to the h pipe will work connecting the kooks x pipe to the bully boat axle backs?

Those clamps open pretty wide and will squeeze up pretty well. I think you'll be just fine. If you find it doesn't close enough you can remove the little block in this middle, but be warned that this will pinch the pipe and possibly bemd it a little.

Ok. I mean if it doesn't fit I can just run to advanced auto and get a band clamp I[m sure that will work just fine.

So I'm gonna be doing the install today and I just want to double check the stock clamps will work when connecting the kooks x pipe to the axle back. Can anyone else comment on this that knows 100%?

Hey guys I need some help...so I installed the headers but can't get the pipes that connect from the x pipe to the axle back connected. I actually was able to get the drivers side connected, but the passenger side would not line up right. I have a 2010 corvette. The drivers side pipe bends in a little and lines up with the axle back. The passenger side pipe is angles off the side a little. Do I have the wrong pipe? Is there a secret to getting the passenger side pipe connected to the axle back pipes? I'm in the middle of this right now and really need some help....

Here's a bump for you, but I don't know if there is any way to tell without seeing them side by side. I don't believe there were any part numbers stamped into the ones I installed on my car, but if there were that would be the place to start. Good luck

So i called Kooks and they confirmed it is indeed the wrong pipe. The pipe for the 2009-2013 is actually two pipes that are connected as one piece and the passanger side has a 90 degree bend in it. So plan on action now is just to order that pipe instead of the whole x pipe. Question is, and they could not confirm, over the phone, is the x pipe that connects to the manifolds the same for 2005-2008 and 2009-2013 models, or is that piece actually different also? To me it appears that is the same, it's just the legs that connect the x pipe to the axle back are different.

Kooks headers /Cattless X all three coated.
I also had wrong pipes from x to axle back. Just no way to work and to long of wait for vendor to make it right.
Had to take it to shop to find a way to connect pipes to muffler. This is what they came up with. Not cheap but only hurt once.
