I was looking at installing the Vitesse throttle control however, I am not so interested in the acceleration of the engine, but I would really like it to decelerate like and older car with a carburetor, I like that noise it makes when you decelerate fast.
Please help with any ideas

All GM cars and trucks have a system in place to save fuel called "DFCO" Deceleration fuel cut-off---Self explanatory--fuel cuts off when decelerating based and triggered by manifold vacuum-----The old school sound is when decelerating unburnt fuel is deposited into your exhaust and is ignited by the exh. heat---Sort of a pop pop pop gurgle----To make your car decelerate like an old sch car a tune is required to DELETE DFCO----
That sound on decel...Snap, Crackle, POP...Love it! It's definitely a sound I love to hear. It really has a lot to do w/the tuning & the Headers/Exhaust combo. I had some big time decel popping W/Corsa Extreme's on my 2008 Corvette. I also have it a good deal on my 2013 Grand Sport w/Akrapovic. Both cars have Longtube headers & catted x-pipe, so that might be the ticket.
