how much can you cut them an still be safe for a N/A motor

Nobody has responded because it's generally a bad idea. I'd recommend you consider a different camshaft that will not require the stock pistons to be modified.

The piston pin boss (reinforced area) is rite behind the valve possible area of contact so the piston is plenty thick in that area I removed .125 off mines no problem running 14.1 to one on e 85.

The piston list thick are is .250 but not withing the area.
