Default Return Fuel Line - Help Please

Long story short...

I pulled my race engine from my '06 last February. Had all the right intentions to install the new stock engine right away. Well, the car sat in my shop for a year with no engine.

I had some available time this week, so I got busy and installed the new fresh (stock) engine in the vette. Started Tuesday after lunch, and by this afternoon, had it completed, except I cannot remember what/where this one line goes. I need your help!

It's the steel line just to the left/inside of the fuel line at the rear of the engine. It comes up the firewall right beside the fuel line, and points toward the front of the engine, just like the fuel line.

What is this, and where does it connect? I'm at a loss. A pic or anything would help greatly.

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Stacey

Not a pic of my car. Just found this on the web and circled the line in question.

What is it, and where does it connect? A pic of a C6 stock engine or anything would help. I can't find a pic clear/detailed enough to see where it goes.

Thanks for your help.
