Dumb clock issue
I live in the Mountain Time Zone. My clock is stuck in the Eastern Time Zone. It used to work correctly by about a year ago it decided to screw with me.
I can reset the clock to MST and hit the GPS Time Button. This keeps it in the MST while I am driving. But as soon as I shut the car down and start it up again its always switched back to EST. Very frustrating!
The battery is fully charged.
The GPS must work because the NAV system works and knows where I am.
Any idea on how to fix this?

After you set the clock and the region correctly push the memory button on the door that matches which fob you use till it beeps to save the settings.

My 10 Cadillac did that and they ended up replacing the whole nav unit, lucky for me it was under warranty.

Sounds odd but I'll check. I'll try anything at this point.

I'll be interested to see what effect the new NAV disc has on the system.

Sorry to say, no change with the clock problem after installing and exercising the new Nav disc.
Only change is the Nav has decided an east coast region is the default region. Previously the west coast was the default region.

Like I said in the other post the nav should have nothing to to with the clock. I removed the disk and my clock works fine.
