Z06 torque tube input shaft bent
Does anyone know where I can get a torque tube input shaft for a C6 Z06? Everything else is fine. Really hate to buy a used torque tube assembly just to use the input shaft. Thanks

How the heck did you bend one of those?
You can get them from GM
Never mind looks like GM wants like $500 for one..
I think it's part number 89060061

What part did you bend on it?
As for if the input shaft is not savable/trueable, then used one thrown on live centers to make sure it running true may be the best option instead.
Hence GM wants a lot of money for a new one, and most of the used pulled down units are fine since they come out of yard sale wrecked cars instead.

Do you have a picture of how it is bent?
Without a pilot bearing the tip will be destroyed but I still don't think that would bend it. It's mounted to a rubber mount so it should have some give
The tip can be welded/turned back down to the proper size. I had to do that on mine actually after having a pilot bearing lock up

The tip really wasn't as bad as I figured it would look, Looks to me like its bent right before the bearing.

Put the pilot bearing on the tip of the input shaft (no matter what one you use) and make sure it fits well before putting it back together by the way
Unfortunately good/used input shafts aren't easy to find by themselves. I spent a while looking for one before just having mine fixed.
