Default NA Build Advice + Nitrous

Hello fellow forum members,

I am looking to build up my LS2 MN6 and was hoping I could get some input from those on the forum. Looking for some good driveable power with a mean sound to give my Supra buddies a run. Thinking I would be in the 450-500 range, although I don't care about the HP, just how I perform.

What I am looking for is the following;

1. Things to avoid or be concerned with
2. Good Tuner in Ontario, Canada or surrounding especially if I add NX which I don't know too much about.
3. Recommendations on combination of goodies

What I have currently on my car are;

Vararam Filter + Throttle Body Spacer
ARH/Kooks Headers, X-Pipe and Flowmaster
Pfadt Tranny and Motor Mounts

I am pretty confident I am avoiding FI and going NA and potentially supplement it with NX. I was thinking of adding the following;

Livernois Motorsports heads and Cam/springs etc.
ATI Balancer

Thanks!

A good cam can get you to around 420-440whp and heads along with the cam will get you into the range you are looking for. A fast intake manifold will pick up a good amount of power also. Going to need bigger injectors also.

As far as nitrous goes my buddies cammed car made 434whp on motor. Added a 100 shot and made around 530whp. Stock fuel pump.

Any recommendations on a cam - I would be leaning towards a semi aggressive cam, around .600 lift. What size injectors - 60s? The NX system - direct port, plate ..? Weak on knowledge here.

Forgot to mention that I have a FAST 102, just haven't had it installed yet.

My friends cam performed pretty good. It was a custom grind 231/234 .61x/.61x 112lsa. He had 56lb ZR1 injectors. A spacer was needed to fit the ls2 manifold. For just a 100 shot Id stick to a plate. I had the NX integrated solenoid plate on my car and also the 90mm NX plate system also. Both quality peices. Had up to a 200 shot in both pulling off of the fuel rail.

What cam was that? LS2 heads with upgraded valvetrain?

That was my thought - 100 shot max but on a FAST 102.

Wrong dasilva i think. They seem very corvette friendly here just sayin. Either way, Champion is another great option.
