My 2011 GS A6 has a problem and I was getting ready to send it out and have it rebuilt, but I found a 2011 Camaro SS 6l80e that is still in the wrapper, newly rebuilt......is it a big deal to interchange these two 6l80e's? Thanks

It is not unfortunately i may have to change mine I have already changed the converter twice and swapped the diff once on my back.
As far as I know there's just one 6L80 shaft and on the corvette is 30 spline so be sure is a 30 spline input shaft the trany should be the same.
Are you doing the job yourself I can send a few pointers your way if so.

The main issue is the output shaft. While I think you could conceivably convert it over, having to swap the output shaft requires the entire transmission to be torn apart.
Sorry, the Camaro tranny will not interchange into a Corvette. The Vette case, pump housing & output shaft are unique to the Vette. Even the bolt pattern on the torque converter is different. The main problem is the case. A Vette differential cannot bolt up to a Camaro/truck case.
