Default exhaust/header question

I'd like to get some feedback from anyone who may have the setup that I am thinking about going with. Stock exhaust, with long tubes and an x-pipe. I've got an 07 Z, and I've heard that the stock exhaust sounds just as good and has just as much performance as any aftermarket exhaust with headers. So one scenario is that I stick with my stock exhaust, and just go with long tubes and an x-pipe. The other scenario is borla Atak catback with long tubes... Opinions? Thanks!

If you're sure you want longtubes but unsure about axleback then just do longtubes first and see if you like it like that or want more

Lots of people are running Z06 (NPP) axle back since it's 3" and has a flap that opens/closes to make it loud or quiet. If you got longtubes meant for a Z06 then it should work with a Z06 axleback setup.

Plenty of people are over 1000rwhp on the stock Z06 axleback so it isn't going to hold you back. Just a matter of sound at that point
