Default What size front time???

Im doing a 15" rear conversion on my base model c6 running a 28" tall rear tire 325/50/15. Question is if I have 18x9" front welds what tire size should I run so I don't throw codes to the traction control and mess it up???

Front Tire Diameter multiplied by 1.04 = Rear Tire Desired Diameter

Just curious as to the source of this information. Is this based simply upon the stock tire diameters...or some other data source? I need to make the call on a drag pack for my '12 GS. I am frustrated by the conflicting information out there. I see many claims of running a 26" diameter front skinny paired with a 28" tall rear drag radial with no TC/AH issues. This would be a 1.08 ratio.
