Default Injector harness plug type????

Tore the top of my LS7 down the other night to get heads fixed.

2 or 3 of the plugs on the injector harness the rocker clip that holds them to the actual injector(on the side of the plug) feels like it cracked because it is much easier to move around than on a few of the other plugs. Had a few other things break due to I am sure heat and age.

Im hoping to have a few plugs on stand by in case these wont stay plugged into the injector and need to be replaced.

I think I have found a few sources, but want to make sure I am ordering the correct plug before I do order.

These are what I have found:
http://www.bmotorsports.com/shop/pro...roducts_id/568

OR

https://secure.fuelinjectorconnectio...rness-end.html

Is that what I need or are the injector plugs a different type?

Thanks for the quick answer.

Now how to get the damn plug apart to get the wires out, thats another question????

I haven't taken that particular one apart yet.. usually if you study the new connector & pin you can figure out how the pin "clips" in to the plastic connector and that will give you an idea on how to get it taken apart. Usually you need a really thin piece of metal to slide in between the pin and plastic housing to get it unclipped

Here's one for a metripack connector

You'll probably use a tool like that to push in one of the slots between the metal pin and plastic connector

You pry the red part out then use a small probe to lift the plastic clip from the connector side out of the terminal. Don't put the probe into the terminal or you'll make it too fat to make a good connection.

Once you get the red clip out you'll see the little plastic clip that goes into the bottom of the terminal.
