Default Info wanted - Unique C6 NPP exhaust setup

I recently purchased a '11 C6 GS with this unique NPP exhaust setup.
As you can see in the pics and the video, flaps on the outside tip of the exhaust open and close, making the active exhaust operation not only audible, but very visible!

I have been researching for who may have made this, but have not found anything. I have not yet seen anything like it, and absolutely loving it! If anyone has seen this and have any information about it, please let me know. I'd love to thank the genius who came up with this brilliant concept and design.

That has to be full on custom. I have never seen anything closely resembling that. I like it although I'm not crazy about the finished look and feel it could have been made more aesthetically pleasing. However, I wouldn't even know where to begin with building something like that so I shouldn't talk.

5knives and schpenxel!
Thanks. I guess I will just keep enjoying the one of a kind exhaust.

Yeah... aesthetically, it is different and may not be most pleasing. I have to agree.
With some of the fasteners starting to rust, I should try to take it apart and replace them with stainless fasteners. I will be able to see the construction in more detail then, and maybe come up with a modification to make it more aesthetically pleasing.

NSF,

No offence taken on that. If someone was trying to develop a sellable product, when they built this, looks is probably what killed the idea...
