I see lots of articles on the C5 and was wondering if there are any differences that I need to know before I start. Brought an OEM delco part and ready to dive in today. It's the driver's side BTW.
Thanks in advance for any tips/help.
I don't think they are very different. Several here have used the C5 write-ups to R&R their C6 regulators.
Thanks, Yep the instructions were close. Only thing I'd add is to mark the windows position side to side as well as up and down. Also the clips at the top go in very easy if you pull up on the edge when you are pushing in. The rest was a snap.
The Delco replacement had both the window clips in the full down position in the box.

Mark the window where the glass bracket clips are located, so you can put the window back in the exact same place, which may help in less adjustments required later.
The C5-C6 instructions are similar. I replaced both my regulators, and made a PDF of my experience.

Very cool. Thanks for the PDF. I got the vertical right but was off on the horizontal. Should have marked the glass at the clips as you said.
