suspension upgrade question
Not planning to drag race the car, just curious if putting Z51 sways on will help at all. Currently the car likes to slide the back end to the passenger side when it loses traction. Would be nice to stay straight.
Thanks

My car launches straight. I have Hinson mounts, LG coilovers, Pfadt bars and Nitto 05R drag radial and Michelin Super Sport for daily use. I also have a Quaife diff, not sure if that helps or not.
I did my stuff the opposite of you. I did suspension, brakes, diff and then the engine. Break less parts that way.

That said, properly set up adjustable sway bar links would help get rid of some preload and make the bar articulate more before loading up (this is because the stock endlinks are extremely short and even when the car is resting on a flat plane the bar still is acting on the arms).
One other sway bar trick is to go with solid bushing bars (like the ridetech) which exhibit less friction than the traditional rubber/poly setup
If you want to go further, then get spherical bearings to replace the control arm bushings
Good luck!
