Default Air Filter Part Number

I know this is a newbie question, but I'm getting conflicting info. I did RTFM, I have it open right in front of me. I also searched here and on ACDelco and like I said, conflicting info.

First, I have a 2013 Grans Sport so dry sump LS3 engine. The owners manual says the LS3 and the LS7 both take the same ACDelco A3077C air filter and only the supercharged LS9 takes the A3107C filter.

ACDelco says my LS3 should take the AC3107C filter. Amazon says the same thing (but I don't trust Amazon to know much about cars).

Since these are NOT CHEAP filters I hate to order the wrong one.

Well, I'd trust AC Delco; after all, they make the filters for the cars. Speaking of which, I have one new, the A3077c, if you want it. Am not going to use it.

They will both fit. The A3077CF is a Durapack filter sold in bulk without packaging, and the A3107C is sold individually in retail packaging.

I'm not aware of any other difference between them, but that doesn't mean there may be.

ACDelco A3107C Professional Air Filter

Just put a new one in my '13 GS a few weeks ago. Bought it via Amazon for something like $85. Looks just like the original filter I replaced.

Ac Delco don't make the vette filters.

Right-o, so what would you like to call it? Sears don't make Kenmores; should they call them Whirlpools? Just funnin' ya. If you can think of a better name, say it.

Donaldson.

They make the air filters for AC delco for corvettes but we know what you mean when you say ac delco, the OEM that came with the car.

Surely do agree. But frankly, I'd bet even on here, if you said the name "Donaldson" easily half or more would say, "where do I get one? never heard of it before."

Stock air filter probably works better since it's generic.

Any LS3 filter will fit ANY VETTE built from 08 and up. Doesn't matter if it's z06/zr-1 gs or base. I have a couple laying aound if you're buying.
