It comes with the camaro oil pan. Will I be able to put my ls2 oil pan on that motor. I'm assuming the corvette and camaro pans are different The baffles are not different or anything?
Is there any other little things I'm missing with this swap? I know about the ls3 maf that needs a tune for but the rest should be pretty stright forward correct?
I can't remember if later LS2's and LS3's used the same MAP sensor port or not, so that's something else to keep an eye out for
Fuel injector length I believe is different
Reluctor differences were the first thing that came to mind but I think sometime in 2006 LS2's switched to a the newer style one that is used on LS3's too, so you're probably fine there. Probably worth doing some research on it if you haven't already though.

you are correct about 06+ LS2's using same 58x reluctor wheel as LS3's
Yes, the oil pans are different and so are the pickup tubes and windage trays. However, if you save the stuff from your LS2, it'll all bolt on the LS3. IIRC, there are little differences in the valve cover studs, the water tube ports in the heads, and something else around the area where the PS, ABS, and alternator mount. The water pump will have different inlet/outlet locations, so either swap with your LS2 or buy new hoses.
One other thing to keep in mind, is the 480hp version uses the "hot cam" from the 1990's and the valve springs to match. I've never investigated closely, so I don't know about the service life of that combination.

I work on 3 cars with this combination.service life is same as stock LS2 and LS3.they use the same LS2,LS3 and LS6 valve springs which are rated for .570 valve lift.the 480 LS3 runs less lift than stock.these 3 cars all have 80,000 to 100,000 miles on them with no issues
