Help with dash cluster
After a 40 mile drive today my cluster stopped working. The car was shut off and restarted 3 times along the way and on the last time none of the gauges are working. The hud works fine. Speedo is on 0, tach is about 1500 rpm, fuel gauge half tank, oil press normal idle range, and temp gauge about right where id expect it to be after sitting for a little over an hour in 60 degrees. I wasnt paying attention right when i started the car but im pretty sure they were on when i started it and went out as i was backing up. Iv took the battery cables off and checked fuses all looks ok. Once i got the car back inside in a darker area i could see the cluster flickering. It seems to be flickering at a constant rate, every 10ish seconds. Even after sitting for 30 minutes its still flickering. Any help is much appreciated!!!! Iv bought several cars off the forum, but have never made a post so if i posted in wrong section I apologize.
Car is a 2006, mild head work, cam, procharger, full exhaust, 6M, 33k miles. Never had an issue before now.

Melting Slicks
It's like a voltage issue try getting a fan on the ecm when this happens see if it goes away your computer maybe overheating.
Superchargers tent to block engine heat and heat sink inside hood maybe getting outa hand.
I ones had to relocate ecm inside under the dash problem solved.
Hope this helps, xbx.

I've seen heat issues kill a alternator quickly and wonder if that could be an issue causing voltage issues.

Alternator is ok, battery is ok. Took it to a friend yesterday and he hooked his scan tool to it. It said it could not communicate with instrument cluster but would not give an actual code. Im waiting on another friend to get back in town who has a Tech II I'm hoping will read it better. The fuel gauge seems to be working, just not backlighting. The backlighting continues to flash constantly, even after hours of sitting.
