I was driving the other day and had just stood on it on the freeway. Continued speed with a slight hesitation and then ran perfect for the rest of the day. It did throw code P0102 which is Mass or Volumne Air. Do I have a bad MAF? No problems since. Took car into body shop and noticed it came back with code P0622 which is generator fields. Could this be due to them letting the battery go dead and then jumped it. Again, car runs fantastic. Puts out 14.2 - 14.5 running down the highway. Is this something to be concerned with? Thanks for looking.
Would start by pulling the MAF to give it and it connectors a good spray electrical cleaning. Hence could be the coils are oil debris packed, or you may have gotten water in its connector to reek havoc instead.
Next what air filter assembly, since some after market filters/housing can reek havoc on the MAF sensor readings as well. Hence instead of a smooth flow of air past the Maf for a clean reading, they cause turbulence isntead.
As for the charger/battery-code/problem, dead battery will cause all kinds of strange codes. So once you have the battery charged again (battery tender), clear the codes and see if they come back again.

Will remove MAF today and clean it up. I am running a Callaway Honker for intake. Filter is new and fresh. The car was not dead when I picked it up, that was just a thought. As mentioned when running, it puts out 14.3 to 14.5 volts always. I cleared codes yesterday and is on my tender when not driving daily. Will let you know the condition of MAF when removed. Thanks for your input!

Took MAF out and cleaned all contacts and MAF itself. Took for drive and no problems at all. Did check for codes after driving and it was clear.
Yep, with filters that you have to clean and oil (read over oil with the oil getting suck through the Maf), you may have to pull the MAF and clean it after a filter cleaning.
Plus, the with the way the car vents out of the motor into the intake, not uncommon for the PCV system to oil debris the MAF with out having a filter that is cleaned and oiled.
A stock Z06 doesn't have a different air intake system. The MAF will sometimes only show a problem when the engine is being pushed hard, so now try doing exactly what started the code before and see what it does...hopefully the cleaning took care of it, but at this point if the code reappears when you are getting on the throttle, then it needs a new MAF
Only modification done to engine. Running great now. Have ordered a new GM MAF to have as a back up if it ever does it again. Yes it was a little oily.
